The meaning of 'Tsilhqot'in' is the People of the Blue Water. 'Tsilh' means blue, 'qo' means water and 't'in' means people. The Xeni Gwet'in First Nations is one of the six Tsilhqot'in communities that form the Tsilhqot'in Nation.
