The Big Scoop Family Restaurant

I had the clams and fries.Before ordering i had asked the waitress if they were big clams and she said yes.So I ordered them and when she came to serve me my food I noticed that they were not what she has said.They were so small and had no flavor and the fries were so salty that I couldn't even eat them. Not a good place to eat if you are looking for a good feed of clams.

Nothing Big Here

Service staff is pleasant but the food is not fresh and they do not give adequate portions. They are more like small eaters. The fish was cold in the center but looked cooked and was far from fresh I couldn't finish eating it and the waitress just said that happens sometimes, potatoes tasted old like they were reheated in a microwave, the coleslaw was good. Party two had burger and fries. He liked the burger until he got to the center, it was raw. When he reported that to the waitress she stated he had eaten most of it so there was nothing she could do. Fries were soggy. Party three had liver dinner. He loved the gravy but the liver was like shoe leather (his words). We will not be returning as the owner nor staff made any attempt to address our complaints and charged us the full price. Not even an apology.

This is a good family restaurant. Now under new ownership by an original waitress. Good all around food.
