Over the years James has done a number of projects for my design studio. He has executed laser cutting, custom fabrication and installation of a number of large steel murals, fencing and railings. He's reliable, dependable and honest. I can wholeheartedly recommend James and The SteelWorks.
I commissioned James to fabricate a unique design for my personal computer work station based on my individual wants and desires. James indicated practical directions to achieve these personal wants in a timely and cordial manner. The desk had to operate in a mobile capacity at times for maximum flexibility so it had to be mounted on wheels.. a tall order which James problem-solved to my satisfaction. It was constructed of rectangular steel tube with custom counter top, but still had to be light and steady. James handled this problem to my satisfaction with professional style and skill. I contacted The Steelworks when designing doors for my home. James worked through all of the details with me and the final product was exactly as I'd envisioned. Even after the installation James followed up on the job to make sure everything was in order - you won't find that level of interest from most designers or fabricators - and with James you get both! We contracted The Steelworks Inc. to design a metal and glass stair project in our house when it was rebuilt this year. The design was engineered crafted and installed all on time which was very important for all the other workers who needed to get to the basement 2nd, 3rd floor. We were very satisfied with the structural design and the project came in to the original price quoted on the onset. Our stairs are now the centre of attention when on the main floor, and the glass panels look clean and make the house. No problem at all recommending the services of James and the Steelworks.
