Springwater Targeted Brush Clean up

The Township of Springwater will conduct brush clean up from May 19 to May 23, specifically targeting urban settlement areas along municipal roadways. This initiative comes in response to the significant damage caused by the March 30 ice storm, which left widespread debris across the township. Brush collections should be out by the curb by 7 a.m., before May 19, 2025.

Available now on both iOS and Android devices; the Springwater app provides a seamless experience for users seeking information, updates and convenient solutions.

City of Barrie - Boundary Expansion Draft Proposal

The Township of Springwater remains committed to finding mutually beneficial solutions for managing growth that strengthen our respective communities and provides opportunities for all residents. The City of Barrie and the Township of Springwater met following direction from Springwater Council to resume discussions. The meeting focused on shared priorities and mutual commitments related to servicing and boundary adjustments that benefit both communities.

17th Annual Springwater Swing 

Join us for the 17th annual Springwater Swing charity golf tournament on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at Orr Lake Golf Club. This years title sponsor is Geranium. The day will include a round of golf, cart, lunch and dinner. All proceeds from the tournament will go towards supporting our community assistance programs, physician recruitment and other worthwhile local initiatives.
