Change did Mom's good. Not sure who the new owners are, but we only went back because we heard the old ones were gone. The biggest difference, these people care, my breakfast was fast, hot, and very good. I went to college up the road, and after being treated poorly repeatedly by the previous owners, I said I would never go back. Well, am I ever glad I did. This is my new favorite breakfast spot in Barrie. Love it. Great job Mom's!!!! Read more

I went in a short while ago, and fell in love. The service is something very special. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. As for the food. I had chicken coconut soup, followed by Scallops and risotto. It was one of the top 3 meals I've ever experienced. Food was amazing, had the blackened trout and it was delicious. The prices are reasonable and even more so considering the quality. Staff was very friendly. The atmosphere is suitable to be well dressed, however, we visited on return from a camping trip Tobermory and received not a single awkward look. Mostly excellent food here. Had one bad lunch where we were not impressed with the food taste on a few items. Off day? The other dozen visits food was excellent! Recommend the feta and spinach frittata! The included fruit tidbits are typically really fresh and tasty too. Service is good, friendly and fairly quick food delivery.
