My daughter and I went for lunch. Our family and friends have been going since they first opened. Food and service is always great!! We enjoy trying something new they have on tap and have yet to be disappointed. Today they were full due to a local hockey tournament. Our lunch was missing a few items and took a little longer than usual, but we received fresh meals quickly. What impressed us the most was how the staff and manager handled the situation. Love this place! My husband and I were looking for good fish and chips and we were quite satisfied. I dont really care what the place looks like on the inside as long as it is clean. They have a sign saying the health department has been there and checked the place out and they passed so thats alright in my books. I think some people are a little dramatic on here. I recently visited this restaurant and the quality of food was amazing. I I tried two popular dishes, a crispy chicken zinger and spicy fish. The food was FANTASTIC. Very fresh, well prepared food and the sauces complimented the food perfectly. There are a couple of different types of fish, and for those who don't enjoy fish there are also shawarmas and burgers. Had seen this place from time to time, since I sometimes go through the Port on business and loved the comfortable charm it presented. This summer after a day of cherry picking, we ended up in Port Dalhousie and Murphy's seemed like the place to try. We were so thirsty! They did the Long Island Ice Tea ... to a tee, and the food was fantastic. We had the surf and turf and a daily special and no one was disappointed.
