Excellent food - the fajita wraps & the garden salads are particularly good. Good pastas too. Strongly recommended!!!
A repeat customer. I had the quesadillas and salad and a soup - very tasty, well presented, freshly served. Large lunchtime portions! Recommend the staff do something to take customers their bill rather than pay at the till - as it is, when a large table leaves you get a snake of customers trying to pay their bills, standing next to patrons who are still eating. In a charmingly renovated wooden floor house.
My friends took me to Einstein's for my bachlorette dinner, and I cannot say enough great things about what a fabulous time we had. We had THE best table on the patio under a gorgeous tree providing the perfect amount of shade. When our server found out it was my bachlorette, I was offered a complimentary martini, and complimentary bruschetta for everyone. The meal portions were more than plenty, and the food arrived quickly and hot. In summertime, my friends and I enjoy Sangria as often as we can and the concensus was it was the best Sangria we had ever tasted! To cap it off, the Chef came out to our table at the end of the evening to see how we enjoyed everything. Even though there were many other tables, we were made to feel like the only ones there. Best service I've gotten anywhere in Guelph. I'm heading back tonight for my sister-in-laws birthday, here's hoping my second visit can live up to the first.
I had almost forgotten about it until I visited again in February. Though it is not the place for a rushed meal the service was very pleasant and it was nice to talk to a server who could carry on a conversation about wine and the menu. Very accommodating and value wise it cant be beat in the city of Guelph. Any one who is not a regular should consider it.
We waited 1 hour for our food and not even a peep about it. It's like they completely forgot about us, despite our table being right next to the wait staff station. At other places, I've received at least an apology (and sometimes a free dessert, but I'm totally not expecting that), and these restaurants were bigger. As for the food portions, they were very generous and I was stuffed. However, the enchilada was pretty dry. (No sauce or anything inside, just some sour cream on the top).
