DEaling with this LAwyer for commercial lease. He is one of the WORST Lawyers you can deal with . unorganized , sent him documents over and over , asking unusual requests and does not answer calls timely . He does not even have a voicemail . Maybe a rookie lawyer for someone want to go the CHEAP way

I recently hired Jegatheesan Law Office to be the lawyer in my real estate transaction. The overall experience was absolutely horrible and I have summarized the details below. PLEASE BE VERY CAUTIOUS WITH THIS LAW OFFICE
-I had great suspicion that the expenses occurred by Jegatheesan (that I had to reimburse) were overstated. Expenses such as bank drafts, faxing, photocopying and courier were, fairly obviously, overstated. I had requested to obtain a copy of the receipts for the expenses, and Jegatheesan, the lawyer himself, became very irate and rude to me. He told me I had no common sense, in front of the whole office, and that none of his other customers ever question him. In the end, he could NOT produce receipts for some of the expenses in question, he simply said he did not have them. I decided it wasn't worth the trouble to pursue further legal action over the expenses in question, so I left it.
- ONE email address is shared between the ENTIRE office, including secretaries, interns and admin assistants. Yes, the entire office uses 1 email address, which means all of the information that you email to the lawyer is shared across the entire office (including sectaries, admin assistants, interns etc.) comprising all privacy and confidentiality.
-2 weeks before closing date, I had an emergency situation, and I had tried to contact the office (during working office hours) for 2 days straight with no response. I had sent 2-3 emails, and called about 10 times. No answer what so ever, and what made it worse is that the voice-mail is FULL so I could not even leave a message. I almost lost the deal because of this. Overall, I would suggest to look for another lawyer and stay away from Jegatheesan Law Office.
